The true story of the Juan y Andrea restaurant on Formentera

Until a few days ago it was a luxurious beach restaurant located on the fifth most beautiful beach in the world according to travellers from the Tripadvisor portal. Today it has become a must for all those lovers of exclusivity and good gastronomy who want to spend a unique day and enjoy an excellent cuisine with fresh local produce.

There are many restaurants where you can taste good rice or fish, but there are not so many who are looking for excellence in service and products. We went to Juan and Andrea to learn about their history, a story that began in 1971 when a fisherman, Juan Bonet, met Andrea on one of his trips and decided to open a small beach bar on the then almost inhospitable beach of Illetes.
